Because Scott wants what he does for work to sound really cool.

Because he likes the suave people.

Because he can follow what this “rocket surgeon” “does.”

Because he knows all those engineering terms, but he says that combined it isn’t really anything.

Because, sometimes the simple things in the kitchen are claimed unknown despite how super smart he is.
