March photos

Time for the March photo dump.

The sleeping picture was Sunday, March 17- Quincy did not want to be in her crib but she was happy laying(...crawling and rolling)on the bed so we took a nap together. :) Scott got this great picture then rolled Q onto her back. The bottom 2 pictures shows how Quincy will get into anything that look interesting, even between all those little places. I desperately need to do more baby proofing before something bad happens. 

Scott took the top 2 pictures. I don't know when they were, maybe pink in February and blue at the beginning of the March?? I think they are cute. in the blue picture Quincy has a foam anchor in her mouth-navy pride. 

Starting to get stubborn sometimes Quincy will be crying on the floor even if we are on the ground with her. The solution that doesn't involve holding? playing on the couch or bed, for some reason Q likes that much more.

Lovin' anything mom or dad has: water bottle, phone, book, food, ipad, diapers, lotion...

Q's room

I finally did something with Quincy's room. The bed skirt is made out of tulle, it kind of looks like a tutu. After four different attempts in making it I finally got to where I was mostly happy with the bed skirt. As you can see this is also the guest room that Quincy will kindly give up to anyone who wants to visit. She hopes her grandpa's don't mind pink. 

6 Months

Hi my name is Quincy I was 6 months old on the day these were taken. Well as close to 6 months as you can be when your half birthday is on Leap Day. I like to drool, and screech so my mom calls me her little pterodactyl. I am starting to army crawl, but since Daddy is in the navy we like to call it navy crawl. 

New Beginnings

At the end of January we held our Young Women New Beginnings, which we celebrated Dr. Seuss style. Girls were assigned a book and a value to talk about , they shared how the character had demonstrated their assigned value. Everyone dressed up as Dr. Seuss-y as we could it was a very nice night and lots of fun. Thanks to Sister Lise-Lotte Newell for putting it all together and the internet for the idea. I can't seem so share clear pictures...maybe because I get them through email but you get the idea. Aren't the girls so cute?! They are so fun and I am blessed to work with them.
