Blessing Day

We blessed Quincy on December 30, 2012, in Utah so our families could be apart of it. She was four months and one day old, being a chubby baby and a a little older Scott was worried about holding Quincy up for the length of the blessing. Dad Richens said something to the effect that if Scott’s arms were getting tired and he was about to drop her, you know you've talked to long.

Scott wore his dress white "choker" uniform (it's also a summer uniform...shhh, don't tell) But he forgot his white uniform pants at home in SC. Whoops! Thankfully he could hem up his brother's baptism pants with tape and it looked almost as good (shhh... don't tell.)

Mom Richens bought Quincy’s Beautiful blessing gown, (yes it was a gown not a dress) sweater, shoes, ruffle tights, bracelet  and a bow. We also added a pearl beads to the bow to match the rest of the ensemble.  She was a little angel!

The blessing was beautiful. Quincy was blessed with virtue and obedience, to be an example and a light in the darkness of what is right, and to have charity towards her family and all mankind.

By the time we had pictures, Quincy had had it and was ready for a nap, I can't complain though, she was So good at church and during the blessing.

Thanks to all our family for supporting and coming. Thank you Scott for being a priesthood holder for our family.

The only picture of her adorable shoes, I had to share.
